WORLD INFRASTRUCTURE AWARDS 2014 - WINNERS

World Cities Network is delighted to share with you news of the winners from our sister organisations's global awards programme. The Awards are dedicated to celebrating Innovation in Infrastructure and celebrate the merits of all those involved within the industry. The awards are project focused and consultants, contractors and or clients are all eligible to enter. The overall aim is to highlight:

  • Innovation in design and construction methods which have demonstrably pushed the boundaries of accepted standards
  • Progress towards increased sustainability and carbon reduction
  • Construction methods or design processes that reduce costs
  • Increased resilience for the built environment served by the project

Water:

Highly Commended; The East River Blueway, New York, USA WXY ARCHITECTURE + URBAN DESIGN

Winner; Modulo Sperimentale Elettromeccanico (MOSE), Venice, Italy CONSORZIO VENEZIA NUOVA
