Redevelopment at Kings Cross

Written by Elena Collins on 4 March 2013

After a decade of careful planning Argent, the property development company, have now completed the first phase of Kings Cross which is now open to the public.

The area which was once a void area in the heart of London is now in the process of becoming home to 50 new buildings, 2,000 new homes, 20 new streets and 10 new public squares. 67 acres of land is being redeveloped for the 45,000 people who live, work and study in the area.

David Partridge, Managing Partner at Argent, met with World Cities Network to explain what has inspired Argent in the redevelopment of Kings Cross and the challenges they have faced.
